LAIRD OF THE MIST
In LAIRD OF THE MIST, Paula Quinn once again proves her skill with words as she pits a brave Kate Campbell against Callum MacGregor, known as The Devil, who defies all laws to protect his clan, which has been declared ‘nameless’ to the Scottish world.
When a neighboring clan attacks her castle, Kate Campbell is fighting fearlessly alongside her fast falling warriors, when she finds she is facing The Devil himself. And as he raises his sword, she manages to injure his arm, only to find herself his prisoner. Realizing she is a woman, and learning her identity as his worst enemy, he takes her on a long fought journey north to his home on Skye, during which, she realizes that he is no Devil, but a good man, fighting for justice for his clan.
Though she is sure she can find happiness on Skye with him, her lecherous uncle, the Earl of Argyll, is following to “save” her, leaving dead and branded in his wake. But can Callum’s isle fortress be enough to protect them?
